We both come from multilingual families and therefore, it was clear that our kids would be speaking, reading and writing in more than one language or at least that was the plan…easy, right? Easier said than done, to be honest. Learning a language is constant and hard work, even for bilingual and multilingual families. You have probably heard many times, that kids are like sponges and they easily learn a second language. This is definitely true, however, they need constant practice.
